52 Weeks to a MORE Fabulous You
So I have some hefty goals this year, when in past years I’ve made no resolutions at all. My main goal this year, is to enjoy lie, and learn to live in the moment, and this fact made any lengthier resolutions controversial for me. I found a happy medium I think, with my 52 week planner, and I hope you enjoy!
Health and Fitness & Beauty
Throughout the year I would like to be a more healthy person. I do not need to lose weight, and I have no intention to quit smoking. BUT- I do not live like a normal person. There is no fitness, and because my family can eat whatever we want and gain no weight, there is very little attention to what we actually eat. Now while I have no intention of going to the gym and being THAT person, I would like to say I am a healthful minded person, and begin to instill the importance to my children. Beauty? Lets get real, Mommy comes last. I am lucky to get a shower in on most days, and since I haven’t the need to LEAVE the house much, I haven’t the need to take care of girly things. 2013 I will NOT be worried if someone I know stops over unexpectedly, because I will look cute every day =)
Finances
With a new job and a new home, it is no wonder that I am looking for a complete change, and the fact is that the way I’ve been doing things is just not working. I budget MONTHS in advance, and we live tight. There is no room for surprise, and sometimes running out of both laundry detergent and shampoo in the same week can really mess me up. I’ve dabbled in couponing, and while I can see its possibilities and KNOW how it works, the act is that I do not have time to accomplish “couponing” to its full potential. I think think that I can cut a lot though, so this year I plan to coupon for non food items, gardening for veggies, and really evaluating where our non-bill money is going. I would like to save $2000 by the end of the year, and keep a savings fund separate from an emergency fund.
Organizing
No matter how many times I organize an area, there are problem spots that come back over and over again! This year I would like to tackle the garbage and excess and instead of having a LOT of STUFF, live happier with less. For example- my son is 2. He has 2 dresser drawers completely full of shirts. Just shirts! We have been lucky that our dear friends have a son just 18 months older than Nico, so every hand me down has been not only pristine, but just in time for his next size. We’ve never HAD to buy him clothes, and everything in his drawer fits him. Will he wear 87 shirts…like EVER? No duh. With many situations like this in my home, I’ve made a list of challenges to clear the clutter!
Being Well
Looking for clarity, understanding and something deeper. If anything, my bad experiences last year, (loved to say that) taught me that there is indeed something bigger to this universe. A power that we can tap into, and use to better ourselves and others. To keep this positive flow of events, I need to keep that in my mind at all times and find daily inspiration to look further. This year- look deeper, believe more, find the connection.

Check out my 14 Day Detox Diet, and if you are curious about the 7 BOXES Challenge, it’s simple! Fill one moving box per day with items that will LEAVE the house. On the 7th day- make a trip to the salvation army donation center, the DUMP, and any friends who are receiving donations. We will be tackling toys, clothing, and the bathroom cupboards and if by CHANCE that does not fill 7 boxes, (it so will) we will move on to the basement!
5 Weeks of Closets- Well that is easy. One person per week. One entire closet. 5 tasks, one per day.
- Empty Non-fits
- Empty garbage
- Empty toys
- Fill with floor and dresser clothes
- Bottom storage
What do you think for month one?

Its so nice to hear of your positive changes for the coming year, its great to have the plan that’s flexible so it doesn’t stress you out if not everything is completed. Love the way you have broke down the clearing up, it makes it so much easier to tackle things one by one, something I really need to do x Good Luck with it all, I’m sure you will do well xx
These are great goals. I am working on some of the same things this year!!! =) I love your site!!! It looks so different!!!
